wooden structure
The beam structure is a 150-meter-long pedestrian bridge linking the university and the residential areas of Villetaneuse in Seine-Saint-Denis.
Various networks
ATEVE also carried out the study mission for connecting the gateway to the various networks necessary for its operation: Lighting, Electricity, Telecom, etc.
Stormwater management
The wooden structure of the footbridge allows the penetration of runoff water to the steel structure, a watertight structure on which the water will flow. However, at certain locations, the space between the wooden structure and the steel structure cancels each other out. The waterproofing was thus perceived at these levels to lower the runoff water into a PVC pipe ensuring the role of rainwater recovery.
Rainwater recovery structures are also planned upstream of the connection boxes, at each end of the footbridge. These structures have been dimensioned according to the standards in force.
